Position Summary:
As a Lead Automation Test Analyst, you will lead the QA validation process for systems with complex compliance workflows and audit traceability. You will define, design, and execute test strategies across UI, API, and integration layers, while supporting enterprise DevOps pipelines and driving test automation excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Design
- Define end-to-end test strategies aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Design and implement automated test protocols to validate workflows and functional behaviors.
- Develop automated component tests to validate modular design behavior across systems.
Automation Development & Execution
- Create, maintain, and enhance automation test suites using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.
- Programmatically write, execute, and debug test scripts across UI, backend API, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
- Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Octopus).
Audit & Compliance-Focused Testing
- Validate audit process workflows, stage dependencies, and rule-based decision flow.
- Ensure automated testing aligns with compliance checkpoints and traceability standard.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to define and refine test scenarios.
- Support release candidate validation and drive test automation in agile sprints.
- Provide test support and mentorship to the QA engineering team across workstreams.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed test case documentation, test outcomes, and traceability matrices.
- Deliver timely reporting of automated testing results to stakeholders with clear insights into product quality and defect trends.
Technical Skills & Experience
Core Requirements
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments (BFSI preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in test automation or software development using Java.
- Strong background in test frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit/TestNG.
- Familiarity with test automation of UI, APIs (REST), and mobile platforms.
- CI/CD expertise using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Octopus.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and test architecture.
- Experience working in Agile delivery models and distributed teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in other languages/tools such as JavaScript, Jasmine, AngularJS, Protractor, JMeter, UFT/QTP.
- Knowledge of performance testing or security testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance/audit automation processes and documentation best practices.
